Parking Services at Skopje International Airport
Whether you are traveling, or you are meeting or greeting your loved ones at the airport, Skopje International Airport provides the opportunity for a shortstop and longer stay of your vehicle in a parking space with 1,200 marked parking lots and 6 marked lots for buses.
The payment procedure for the parking services is simple and easy with the automated parking payment machines that you can find in the terminal building.
To use the parking services, a reservation, or pre-booking, is not required.
Parking
The parking is located right in front of the terminal building, just across the transit street and the greenery. Here you can park your vehicle for a shorter period, 1 hour, 2 hours or more during a day, but also, depending on your needs, you can park your vehicle for a longer time.
GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR USE OF THE CAR PARK AT SKOPJE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
1. General Provisions
1.1. These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Car Park area ("Car Park") managed and maintained by TAV Makedonija DOOEL Mralino, Ilinden, a registered company in the Republic of North Macedonia (the "Company").
1.2. By entering, parking or in any way using the Car Park area, all users ("User") agree to these General Terms and Conditions.
1.3. The Company reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version is published at the official website of Skopje International Airport.
2. Entry and Use of the Car Park
2.1. Entry is allowed only for vehicles that meet all applicable legal regulations and safety standards.
2.2. The user is required to follow all traffic signs, markings and directions from authorized personnel.
2.3. The car park is intended exclusively for vehicle parking. It is prohibited to carry out commercial activities, repair vehicles, or stay/sleep in vehicles.
2.4. The company has the right to refuse entry or remove a vehicle that is unsafe, abandoned, or improperly parked.
3. Car Park Fee and Payment
3.1. The use of the Car Park is subject to payment according to the applicable tariff indicated at the entrance and on the official website of Skopje International Airport
3.2. Payment must be made prior to exiting the car parking at the automatic billing terminals in the airport building.

4. Responsibility and Risk
4.1. Parking is at the User's own risk.
4.2. The Company assumes no liability for any damage or loss of the vehicle, its parts, or items therein, regardless of cause (including theft, vandalism, fire, or weather conditions).
4.3. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising out of the use of the car park.
4.4. The user is required to secure the vehicle (lock the doors and windows) before leaving.
5. Removal and towing of vehicles
5.1. The company has the right to remove or tow a vehicle that:
• is parked without payment or after the expiration of the maximum allowed stay of 12 months.
• obstructs traffic or other parked vehicles, or
• represents a security risk.
5.2. The cost of towing and storage is at the user's expense.
5.3. The company may hold the vehicle until all fees and penalties have been paid.
6. Personal data and video surveillance
6.1. For the purposes of the safety of persons, vehicles and property within the parking area, TAV Makedonija DOOEL may carry out video surveillance (CCTV) in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia and the applicable bylaws.
6.2. Video surveillance is carried out solely for legitimate purposes, such as:
• prevention and detection of damage, theft, vandalism or other illegal activities,
• protection of employees, customers and visitors,
• recording incidents in order to establish liability or conduct legal proceedings,
• ensuring the proper functioning of the payment system and car park management.
6.3. Video cameras are placed in clearly marked locations and do not record areas that could unduly infringe on a person's privacy (e.g., public toilets, administrative premises, etc.).
6.4. Recordings and other personal data are processed only by authorized persons employed or hired by TAV Macedonia DOOEL, who are obliged to act in accordance with the personal data protection policy and the obligation of confidentiality.
6.5. Recorded data is stored for a maximum of thirty (30) days from the date of its creation, after which it is automatically deleted, unless it is necessary to conduct proceedings in connection with a specific incident or legal obligation.
6.6. The recorded materials may only be submitted to the competent authorities (police, court, inspection authorities) upon their official request, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
6.7. Any natural person has the right to request information about whether his personal data is processed through the video surveillance system, in accordance with Articles 19–26 of the Personal Data Protection Act.

6.9. By using the Car Park, the User is aware that he/she can be recorded and consents to the processing of personal data in accordance with the abovementioned provisions.
6.10. The Car Park may be under video surveillance (CCTV) for security and operational purposes.
6.11. The recorded data may be used in cases of disputes, damages or legal proceedings, and will be processed in accordance with the Law on the Personal Data Protection of the Republic of North Macedonia.
7. User conduct and sanctions for non-compliance
7.1. The User is obliged to behave decently and respectfully towards other users, staff and property of TAV Macedonia.
7.2 The User must not throw waste, damage property or cause disturbance of public order.
7.3 The User is responsible for any damage caused to the parking equipment or infrastructure and is obliged to compensate the company for it.
7.4. The following actions are prohibited:
• throwing waste or polluting the area;
• damaging the parking equipment, signs, payment machines or horticulture;
• aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior toward staff or other persons;
• failure to comply with the directions of the company's authorized persons;
• using sound devices, sirens, or driving at excessive speed within the car park;
• parking outside marked areas or in positions reserved for persons with disabilities without authorization;
• throwing or leaving objects that may cause damage or represent safety risk.
7.5. In the event of a violation of these rules, the company is entitled to take one or more of the following measures:
a) Verbal or written warning to the user.
b) Temporary or permanent removal of the vehicle from the car park.
c) Collection of additional compensation for administrative and operational costs associated with the violation.
d) Collection of fines in the following amounts, in accordance with the general practices of public car parks in the region:
• Improper parking or obstruction of other vehicles: 2500 MKD
• Failure to comply with guidelines or safety rules: 2500 MKD
• Throwing waste or polluting 2500 MKD
• Verbal or physical aggression towards staff: 2500 MKD
• Damage to infrastructure or equipment: compensation of full damage + penalty up to 12000 MKD.
7.6. In cases of more serious or repeated violations, the company may request assistance from the competent authorities (police or municipal inspection), whereby additional legal sanctions may be imposed according to the applicable regulations.
7.7. The user is materially and legally responsible for any damage caused to the property of the company or to another person within the car park. The company has the right to claim compensation for damages, including the costs of repair, cleaning and administrative processing.
7.8. The Company reserves the right to deny access to or prohibit future use of the parking space to any user who repeatedly violates these rules.
8. Applicable law and jurisdiction
8.1. These General Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia.
8.2. All disputes arising out of these terms are within the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Skopje.
9. Lost car park card/ticket and payment time calculation
9.1. Upon entering the car park, the system automatically records the time of arrival of the vehicle by issuing a parking ticket/card.
9.2. The time for calculating the car park fee starts from the moment the ticket is issued or the entrance is recorded, and ends at the moment when the vehicle leaves the car park.
9.3. The user is obliged to keep the car park ticket/card until the moment of payment and exit from the car park.
9.4. In case of lost, damaged or unreadable ticket/card, the User is obliged to immediately contact the counter of the car park office or the authorized person of TAV Macedonia DOOEL.
9.5. In such case, due to the inability to ascertain the exact time of entry, an agreed lump sum shall be applied for a lost ticket, in accordance with the applicable pricelist, as follows:
• Lost or damaged ticket/card 3500 MKD
• If the system allows entry verification via a license plate, the payment time will be calculated based on the system's records.
9.6. After the payment of the compensation for the lost ticket has been made, the User will receive a confirmation of payment, which must be submitted at the exit.
9.7. The company is not obliged to prove the duration of parking in the event of a lost ticket/card if the system does not provide technical tracking of entry/exit without a ticket.
Transit, in front of the airport terminal building – Hug & Fly
Transit zone or Hug & Fly is right in front of the airport terminal building where you are enabled a short stop, or free parking for up to 10 minutes, just enough to meet or greet your family, friends, guests, or business associates.

Accessible Car Parking
There are 20 parking lots for people, or passengers with disabilities, for which the use of the parking is free of charge within 24 hours. For the approval of the free-of-charge parking use, the passenger is required to go to the parking office and present the traffic license of the vehicle and the disability identification card (to identify as a person with a disability).This applies only if the person with a disability is the owner and drives the vehicle.
Parking lots for diplomatic vehicles
There are 4 diplomatic vehicle parking lots.These lots are only for parking diplomatic vehicles, that is vehicles with diplomatic car plates.The parking service fee does not differ from the regular prices provided in the tables above.

Lost ticket
In case of loss of the parking ticket, a check is performed in the parking system using the vehicle’s registration number in order to confirm the data for the parking entry time. The fee is charged according to the actual duration of parking use and an additional amount is charged for the lost card.
Only in cases where the entry time cannot be determined due to a technical error, a fixed fee is applied in accordance with the published price list.

Frequently Asked Questions
There is regular shuttle bus to/from Skopje International Airport for passengers that drives and stops at key bus stops throughout the City of Skopje and arrives at the airport. V2V Transporter manages and operates the shuttle buses for passengers. The shuttle bus timetable is prepared according to the arrivals/departures of flights at Skopje International Airport. Skopje International Airport operates 24/7. Restaurants and cafes such as Cakes & Bakes, Café In, Burger King and NeedStop are available for the passengers at any time; business lounge (PrimeClass CIP Service) offers you comfort 24/7, while ATU Duty Free is opened as per the flights timetable and offers wide range of products.
Check-in at the passenger and baggage check-in counters starts 120 minutes (2 hours) before the scheduled time of departure (STD) specified on your flight ticket. The closing time of the airport check-in counter is no later than 40 minutes before STD stated on your flight ticket.

Passengers are allowed to carry on board free of charge items such as coat, 1 umbrella or walking stick, 1 ladies handbag, 1 camera or binoculars, 1 baby transporter, 1 pair of crutches or similar prosthetic aids, medical equipment on which the passenger is fully dependent, a reasonable quantity of baby food.

Yes. Since 2015 TAV Macedonia has introduced free Wi-Fi internet at Skopje International Airport, which was upgraded in 2019. Passengers can access free internet through their mobile devices by simply connecting to a wireless network called TAV Airports, password is not required.

Yes. At Skopje International Airport there are specially designated, marked parking lots for persons with disabilities and the car park services are free of charge within 24 hours. By enclosing the traffic license and the disability identification card at the Car Park Payment Counter, located inside the terminal building, our employees will cancel the car park ticket and the person with disability will be automatically exempt from paying for the car park service. If all designated parking lots for persons with disabilities are occupied, park your car on a regular parking lot, and following the above stated procedure you will be exempted from paying for the car park services.

Yes. At Skopje International Airport there is a Special Assistance Service for passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs). The counter where you can ask for this free of charge service is located inside the Terminal building, next to the Information Desk. Passenger with Reduced Mobility (PRM) means any person whose mobility is reduced due to physical incapacity (sensor or locomotor), intellectual deficiency, age, illness, or other cause of disability.
Yes. There is a smoking room at Skopje International Airport, which is located in the security-restricted area, airside. The smoking room is located next to Gate number 201, i.e., on the left side after you pass passport control and security screening.
In addition to the smoking room, passengers can use the open terraces of the cafeterias located at the entrance to the terminal building of the airport.
Smoking is prohibited in all other areas of the terminal building.
