TAV Airports at Skopje Airport welcomed inaugural easyJet flight from Paris Orly Airport

 


TAV Macedonia, TAV Airports subsidiary, at Skopje International Airport this morning, April 2nd, at 8:305h, welcomed easyJet’s inaugural flight from Paris Orly Airport. 
With token gifts, featuring the Macedonian traditional spread – ajvar, and unique, custom-made, postcards with Skopje landmarks, the first 58 passengers, arriving from Paris were welcomed, while the captain of the first easyJet flight and the Deputy General Manager of TAV Macedonia, Pero Lupevski, cut a cake to mark the opening of this regular airline. 
“From today, April 2, 2025, thanks to easyJet, Skopje International Airport will be connected to the main airport of the French capital, which is the base of Easyjet and is an airport that is part of our group, i.e., it is managed by Groupe ADP (Aeroports de Paris), of which TAV Airports is a member. Easyjet will fly from Paris - Orly to Skopje and back, twice a week, every Wednesday, and every Saturday, offering yet another option for our passengers who want to travel to Paris, and of course from Paris further in Europe, considering that the airline flies to more than 160 airports in 35 countries. Not only is this new route a significant step forward in expanding and improving the airline network from Skopje International Airport, but it also offers convenient and diverse opportunities for our passengers, encouraging greater tourist and economic connectivity,” stated Pero Lupevski, TAV Macedonia Deputy General Manager for Operations.

With the addition of this direct flight, Paris – Skopje – Paris, which will be operated by easyJet with two flights a week, or every Wednesday and Saturday, passengers from Macedonia now have easier access to Paris and beyond in Europe, while passengers arriving from Paris to Macedonia will have the opportunity to explore the rich history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant culture of our country. 
On Wednesdays, the arrival time at Skopje Airport is 8:45h, and the departure time from Skopje Airport to Paris Orly Airport is 9:25h, and on Saturdays, the flight arrives from Orly Airport to Skopje Airport at 8:55h and departs to Orly Airport at 9:35h.
