TAV Airports donated cooked meals to Homeless Shelter Momin Potok in the spirit of holidays giving

In the spirit of the welcoming of the New Year and holidays season, and as part of its commitment to community support, TAV Macedonia donated cooked meals to the Red Cross of the City of Skopje Homeless Shelter Center Momin Potok.

TAV Macedonia, a TAV Airports subsidiary, today, December 20th donated freshly prepared meals to the Red Cross of the City of Skopje Homeless Shelter Center Momin Potok.

The donation titled “TAV cooks”, as it includes volunteering help of TAV employees, is consisted of 110 cooked nutritious meals aiming to provide warmth, nourishment, and comfort to those in need during the holiday season.

“Within TAV Airports, we believe in the power of giving back, and what better time to do so than before welcoming the New Year when many reflect on the past and look forward to a better future. This donation is a small way for us to show our appreciation for the community and ensure that no one has to go without food as we move into the new year.” – said Nejat Kurt, TAV Macedonia General Manager.

This is the second donation of cooked meals TAV Macedonia donated to Homeless Shelter Momin Potok this year, prepared by BTA Macedonia, TAV Macedonia sister company responsible for food and beverages at Skopje International Airport.

The idea by this corporate socially responsible activity of TAV Airports is to provide homeless people with essential nutrition as they navigate the challenges of homelessness.

The shelter, which has served the local community for almost 15 years, continues to be a crucial resource for people in need, offering shelter, meals, and a sense of hope.

“TAV Cooks” initiative is part of TAV Macedonia and TAV Airports’ ongoing efforts to give back to and support the local community. In addition to the holiday food drive, the company continues to partner with various local organizations throughout the year to support groups facing economic hardships, food insecurity, and other challenges.
