TAV Airports announces: AEGEAN to launch new direct flight from Skopje to Corfu Island as of June

TAV Airports is thrilled to announce the launch of a new seasonal route from Skopje International Airport to Corfu Airport, operated by AEGEAN as of 1st June 

As of 1st June 2024, thanks to AEGEAN, the Greek flag carrier, and a member of STAR ALLIANCE, a new seasonal route will be launched directly connecting Skopje International Airport and Corfu Airport, thus providing an extraordinary and unique connection between the vibrant city of Skopje and the picturesque island of Corfu, Greece, TAV Airports announces. 
Starting 1st June, travelers will have the opportunity to experience the beauty and charm of Corfu, its historic monuments, stunning natural landscapes, and crystal-clear seas, onboard a direct flight, from Skopje Airport, operated by AEGEAN.

Following Athens and Sarajevo, directly connecting Corfu will be the third destination that AEGEAN launches from Skopje International Airport. AEGEAN will operate direct flights connecting Skopje with Corfu until the end of September, with two weekly frequencies, every Saturday (Sunday) and Tuesday (Wednesday). 
Departure time, on Saturdays and Tuesdays, from Skopje Airport will be at 21:35h (local time), and the arrival time at Corfu Airport at 23:50h (local time), while the departure time, on Sundays and Wednesdays, from Corfu Airport will be at 00:20h (local time), and arrival time at Skopje Airport at 00:30h (local time).

TAV Airports’ officials believe that this new seasonal route will further enrich Skopje International Airport's portfolio and route network map, especially since Corfu is an attractive summer destination, which now can be reached in only one hour and 15 minutes. 

TAV Macedonia, a subsidiary of TAV Airports finished January and February 2024 with 243,244 passengers at both Macedonian airports – Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport, which is an increase of 47% compared to January and February 2023. At the same time, the number of flights at both airports in the first two months amounted to 1,931, with a 38% annual increase.
