Skopje International Airport to be closed as of tomorrow at midnight (18th March) for passenger flights
According to the Decision of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia adopted on 16th March 2020, on preventing import and spread of the Coronavirus, TAV Macedonia would like to inform all passengers and the public that Skopje International Airport will be closed tomorrow, 18th March, at midnight, for passenger flights, until further notice.
As an airport operator we have informed all airlines and stakeholders about this decision, while M-NAV has published NOTAM – aviation documents informing all air carriers about important and urgent messages.
Within the upcoming period, there will be no passenger flights, except for state, military, humanitarian, medical, sanitary and cargo flights.
Until the closure, the air traffic will be according to the flights time table that passengers can check on our website http://skp.airports.com.mk/, but as the situation with the Coronavirus is changing very fast, we would like to kindly ask you to follow the latest announcements about your flights on the airlines' websites and to contact their customer departments.
Regarding any possible further changes in the operations and work of Skopje International Airport and Ohrid St. Paul the Apostle Airport, closed on 15th March, 2020, Sunday, also based on Government’s Decision, we are going to inform the passengers and the public, according to the information and decisions of the Government as soon as we receive them, and we will inform via: media, our websites http://skp.airports.com.mk/ and http://ohd.airports.com.mk/, and on our social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
